All programs are for cis, trans girls, gender-expansive, and non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centers on the experiences of girls/women. Age 12-19.

Youth Video Lab

The Youth Video Lab is a virtual space for youth participants to get help for any film projects, ask filmmaking questions, and/or start film-related discussions.  One or more mentor(s) will be present to answer questions, engage in discussions, and provide assistance to the best of their knowledge and ability. Like office hours, the video lab is open for drop-ins on zoom any time between 4 pm and 6 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You need to register through zoom. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

In LIKE BREATH, we explore different forms of poetry to tell our stories. By the end of this 6-weeks program, participants will gain a solid understanding of the large expanse that is the poetry genre, the ability to convey thoughts within a wide range of poetic styles and subjects, and an online publication distributed through the HWF website.
