Since 2012, the Reel Camps have provided a courageous and safe environment for girls (cis/trans), femmes, non-binary, gender-fluid, and gender-queer youth, as well as any other youth who identify outside of the gender binary.

This summer, we are holding two Reel Camps, one in June and the other in July. Students may register for both, but the courses are the same.

During this one-week session, students will learn the entire process of making a short film from pre-production to post-production. All levels of experience are welcome, we will teach you everything you need to become a great filmmaker!

Very limited seating, apply soon!

No filmmaker is ever turned away due to lack of funds. We offer a Pay What You Can registration fee (suggested fee is $600). Email Pōʻai at poai@hawaiiwomeninfilmmaking.org for any questions and/or concerns.
