Making Media That Matters at The Conversation on HPR

On July 30 morning, I was interviewed by Bill Sage of Hawaii Public Radio about "Run Away" a short film I directed during the 2014 Spring Making Media That Matters. I was pretty nervous because it was the first time I was going to be interviewed on live radio, but the hosts were very kind and accommodating and thatʻs eased the tension. It was nice I was able to share about the film, its process, and the issue we have been working on. This interview gave me the opportunity to share something I'm passionate about with other people, and broadcast it to a large audience. I wished there was more time to talk about our current film project! I grew up listening HPR, so it was quite interesting to see the station in person from inside, and maybe there will be other opportunities in the future to work or volunteer with them.
