We are seeking self-motivated, organized, and experienced filmmakers of all ages to work with us as Filmmaker-Mentors for our 2015 Summer Programs. Ideal candidates are dedicated to promote social justice and gender equity through the power of film.
As a filmmaker-mentor, you will operate as a liason between the instructors and the participants and facilitate their work and learning experience. You will be responsible for following the work of the team you will be assigned to, providing one to one support, tracking the progress of each participant, and help them complete their film project.
All Filmmaker-Mentors must complete Mentor training and a background check before being able to mentor for a program.
Positions available:
Job 1: Summer Reel Camp for Girls {Basic Reel} June 15-20 | 8:30-4:30 pm | compensation: $600
Job 2: Making Media That Matters June 22-July 30 | Mondays and Thursday 1:30-5:00 pm | compensation: $600-$800
Job 3: Summer Reel Camp for Girls {Animation} July 20-24 | 8:30-4:30 pm | compensation: $600
